We arrange rides by connecting customers with independent, licensed, and insured drivers who use their own vehicles to provide transportation. Because our services are largely coordinated by phone and dispatcher assistance, the information we collect is limited to what is reasonably needed to arrange trips, communicate with customers and drivers, process payments, and meet legal or insurancerelated requirements.

We do not operate vehicles, and we do not provide transportation or medical services directly.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

The information we collect depends on how someone interacts with us and the type of service requested. This may include basic contact details such as a name, phone number, or email address if one is provided. We also collect trip-related details like pickup and drop-off locations, requested dates and times, and the nature of the service requested, whether it is standard for-hire transportation or non-emergency medical transportation.

During the normal course of operations, we may retain records of communications with our office, including phone conversations, text messages, emails, booking confirmations, and service changes. Payment-related details may also be collected to confirm transactions, although full credit or debit card numbers are not stored by Scorpio.

For non-emergency medical transportation services only, we may handle limited health-related information, such as appointment locations or mobility needs, when that information is required to coordinate transportation. We do not collect medical records, diagnoses, or treatment information.

3. HOW INFORMATION IS OBTAINED:

Information is typically provided directly by customers when they call our office, send messages, or request services. In some cases, transportation may be arranged by a third party, such as an insurance provider or an authorized representative, who supplies the necessary details on the passenger’s behalf. Drivers or dispatchers may also record limited trip-related information to ensure that services are properly scheduled and completed.

Phone calls may be recorded where allowed by law and where appropriate notice is provided. Recordings, when used, are intended for quality assurance, training, or resolving service-related issues.

4. HOW INFORMATION IS USED:

Personal information is used only for legitimate business purposes related to transportation coordination. This includes arranging and assigning rides, communicating with customers and drivers about trip details, processing payments, meeting legal or insurance obligations, addressing questions or complaints, and improving the reliability of our operations.

We do not use personal information for unrelated activities.

5. PAYMENTS AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION:

Payment for services may be made in cash or by credit or debit card, depending on the booking method and type of service. Card payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Scorpio does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on its systems. Any financial information handled by payment processors is governed by their own privacy and security practices.

6. NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION:

When providing non-emergency medical transportation coordination, any health-related information we handle is used solely to arrange transportation and comply with insurer or authorization requirements. Access to such information is limited to personnel involved in coordinating the trip and to parties such as drivers or insurers who require it for that purpose. This information is not used for marketing or unrelated business activities.

Neither Scorpio nor its drivers provide medical care, medical advice, or medical supervision.

7. SHARING OF INFORMATION:

Information is shared only when reasonably necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. This may include sharing details with independent drivers assigned to a trip, payment processors, dispatch or software service providers, insurance companies or brokers involved in authorization or billing, or government authorities when disclosure is required by law.

Scorpio does not sell personal information.

8. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION:

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and operational steps to safeguard personal information against unauthorized access or misuse. While we work to protect information, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Personal information is retained only fWor as long as reasonably necessary to operate our services, comply with legal and insurance requirements, and resolve billing or service-related matters. Information is not kept longer than needed for these purposes.

9. WEBSITE AND TECHNICAL DATA:

When our website or mobile application is used, certain basic technical information may be collected automatically, such as an IP address, device or browser type, and access timing. This information is used for system functionality, security, and administrative purposes.
